Great write up as always Steve :thumbsup

Did you manage to spot the white dots for the turn in and apex at Oulton?

The mighty Fiesta - liked it far more than I was expecting tbh. If anything I thought it would be up for sale by now, but I find myself looking at sticky tyres and rear ARB's! It was great fun pressuring a few in there Elise's, 2-11 and even Caterham's to move out the way even if it did take some of them quite a few laps to admit defeat :damnfunny It never missed a beat all weekend.

Looking forward to next year already, just a shame we aren't going to Oulton again.

Ps, the Fiesta had a 350 miles range coming home

:cheers

Holy moly. I leave you boys alone for ONE weekend and the wheels are off the wagon

How the hell you went north east from Alston instead of south east may remain ever a mystery !

Maybe next year eh ...

That’s what happens when you let Stu lead. To be fair, none of us noticed we were on the wrong road. Just as well Stu’s satnav started going mental or we’d have been on our way to Newcastle.

After conferring with Gary, I think that this is route we took.

Ninebanks should be renamed nine-point-turn. 8)

That looks about right..... Even though I went left 🙄

I think you needed a mini mpv like the fiesta to see them. Image

Mighty fiesta indeed Mike - had great fun following you around, some of my most enjoyable laps. Second only to following an orange R400 round donnington.... :damnfunny :damnfunny :damnfunny

In all honesty, I was not worried at all as we were all having a good time driving.

I saw them, but the one for Druid's appeared to be mentally late! So much so that I think it was actually covered in dried mud and stuff, i.e. nobody ever turned in from there.

I cannot see the dots at all Mike. You will have to point them out.

They were lines that were perpendicular to the track edge. I found it hard to pick them out on your videos but I managed to find one. If you zoom in you’ll see it just above your left wing at Shell Oils.

I will have to trade in my car and get a ST so I will be sitting higher up and I can see them. I would be better off picking a stone from the kitty litter as I could not see any white spots.😂

It's right there, straight above the left most air vent. They are actually more like lines coming in perpendicular to the track limit line.

As already said good right up Steve!

Even though I only made it to the Oulton Trackday I'm so glad I did as it must be amongst the best tracks in the UK, there was a good SE contingent there in all sorts of kit and a great day weatherwise.

So much fun - awesome outing!
