Unfortunately I now have work commitments on the 30th.

Would anyone like my space.

If not ill just have to ask John nicely if I can bank it for later in the year!
No worries, I have quite a few on the reserve list looking for a spot. I’ll drop you an email to sort out.

Last nights forecast for Saturday was showing rain, but this morning it is looking dry and overcast. If there is a small shower, then it should be dry again pretty quickly.

Easy for you to say!

Personally I’d like to drive home again. Last time I made a low loader quip, it didn’t end well

Car pressure washed, tools looked out, forms filled out, track insurance arranged.

Just the tyre pressures to guess.

And we’re ready

Me too, got one from my Christmas maybe not that super duper as it was £9.99.

Petrol gauge doesn’t work correctly in my non lotus, guessed it was pretty low so decided i’d put in 50litres.

Clicked off full at 48litres, so i’ve got now got 19.8 gallons in my lightweight Porsche

Ta but now sorted.

Got some time tonight so trusty £5 analogue gauge and Aldi 12v compressor put to work and we’re exactly 1.8 / 2.0 front / rear.

I have a fair set of tools and a jack stowed too, if anyone is stuck Image

What a grand day out.

Thanks again John for all the slick organisation as ever

Usual multi-season weather from Knockhill. Cold and dry on arrival. Drizzle during sign-on. Rain then fog on warmup. Drying line soon after. Sunny by 12.30pm.

Great mix of hardware, both to see and to pace ourselves against. Very sound driving standards too.

I was the orange mobile chicane, btw.

But as the line dried and I got my mojo back (18 months since I’ve driven on track), things started to improve.

Then I got brave and turned the dampers up

What a difference. So now really looking forward to experimenting with settings at future events. Roll on Oulton + Donnie in Oct

And finally. There was lots of #bemoretut action. Obvz...

One car lost a drive shaft. N3TUT. Natch.

One lost its oil. Our much loved 968CS.

And one went on fire

Tut woulda been proud

Serious respect to Robin too for Tut’s Prayer at the start. Beautifully written and delivered.
