Are the rest of us still intending to meet at Tesco?
Not sure what Kinger’s plans are and it’s not often that we get to leave at a decent time, so it makes sense to take the more scenic route to Knockhill considering the decent weather too. That just leaves you and Mike from the people coming down from Aberdeen.

I’m going to leave as late as possible, and get back as quick as possible. Wife’s away and I’ll be leaving dog home alone. Hopefully she doesn’t leave me a home coming pressy 😂😂😂

Anyone got a new set of Pagid RS14 front pads they could bring tomorrow?

I ordered a set on Monday which aren’t going to be here on time!

Cheers.

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

I’ve got a set a nearly new pads, I’ll take them along and you can see if they are any use.

Well that was a fantastic evening. Big thanks to Leven Car Company for an excellent event.

Great to see every one. Sorry to see the AA van attending to Rich’s car. Nice to meet you, hope you didn’t have to wait too long.

Some serious metal in attendance. These nights are going to be a more regular event, looking forward to the next one! :drive :thumbsup

It was, and thank you to Kayfur for the pax laps, was brilliant to get a wee taste of Caterham again!

I was there from about 2pm until nearly 6, so saw the cars from both sessions. Weather was great too 8)

As Ed said, some serious metal around, Dario Franchitti's Carrera GT was stunning, and cool to see him and Sir Chris Hoy together :thumbsup

Turned into a right social for me - bumped into a surprising few folk from SE, the Jock7 days, and a few others!

The Cerb had a good spirited run there and back so all good!

Glad I sneaked away from my desk for a couple of hours, like Rossy, I met lots of friends and loved just wandering about in the sun Image

That was a good day.

I was in the orange exige there.... I missed the the red Porsche unfortunately. Looked wild.

Already started looking for the forged wheels and the stickier tyres.

Went out with one of the academy drivers in the 410 exige, it was very impressive.

Lots of fun and great to see everyone. Cracking conditions!

Good standards of driving and some lovely cars! I'm going to be controversial and say the Porsche GT doesn't do it for me. I have a new found respect for the Aston's as they were going great guns. All kind of look pedestrian along side Baz's McLaren. 👍 Bonkers quick and just disappears up the road! 😲

Great night, echo driving standards were very good, only a single red light for unknown reasons
Eclectic mix of cars, not just on track, but in the car park too, where did they all come from!😀
Had a close look at the McLaren Senna, it’s a work of art, structural carbon fibre on the wheel arches, wow. Don’t think I’d be brave enough to track it.
Leven organised a well run event, with another 5 planned this year, a good addition to the track day community👍
Definitely need to get my trainers on again, i’m unfit, getting old or both, it was a workout in the warm weather, unusual for KH :D

Good to meet you Ed and thanks for the water, turned out I needed it as the recovery didn't arrive until 10.45pm...!

Anyway, brilliant track day as others have said some serious machinery on track which was great to see. My plan was to watch more of those incredible cars on track, do more laps myself and chat to folks however my attention was diverted by a battery light staying on so headed to the paddocks and didn't sound right and a mate reckoned the crankshaft pulley was wobbling... a little digging around we discovered the alternator belt off in one piece with a slight nick in it.

So car recovered to the good folks at Dreadnought. They found the crankshaft pulley about to fall off, the bolt was hand tight. How does a bolt go from 205Nm to hand tight? Perplexing but worrying. However, stopped at the right time, now the new belts are fitted and crankshaft pulley and car back again - super quick service!

Perhaps I should buy a lottery ticket! That was super lucky in my book
