Whoever owns that S1 likes his stickers 😂

Really enjoyed that today. Good to meet a couple of guys from here as well.

By the blue car I presume it was the renualtsport megane? I followed him for a bit and was literally all over the place. He almost lost it on the brakes into the hair pain when I was following him

Another great SIDC track day, thanks John👍
Greasy to start with, despite the forecast, the weather was kind, allowing a dry line for most of the morning.
Well saved by Mr King the top of Duffus 🤣
Mike was exploring the handling on the latest edition to his garage. Yeah front wheel drive cars do go sideways 🤣
Looking forward to Donnie and Oulton now

Glad you all enjoyed the day. Despite a dry forecast, the track was a bit greasy for the first hour or so due to overnight drizzle and fog, but dried up nicely as the morning progressed. The rain just started just as the chequered flag was waved for the end of the session.

Only a couple of red flags due to mechanical issues, and one soft roll by a mini race car into the gravel (it was fixed and ready to race today!), and good driver behaviour on track :)

As usual I took way too many photos, and a selection of them can be viewed on FB here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/FlatOutPhot ... 0167547200

See you all again next year.

Thanks for all your efforts for a fine season of track days once again, John.

It means a lot to have a safe, dependable track day option this far north in the UK. And clearly even moreso for the NE crew

6inch nail should do the trick. :damnfunny
Couldn't find a 6" nail so went about it logically. Unplugged the lights at all four corners, fitted a new fuse and repluged-in connectors one at a time until I found the offending corner. Turned out it was the front nearside, it was soaking and full of sh*t. Cleaned up and dried it all up and put some duck tape over connection to stop ingress of more crap.

Good result as I hate anything electrical. :D :D
