Bilster Berg,Zandvoort Zolder "Triple header"

Post by Kinger » Tue Jan 07, 2020 6:20 pm

Paul has just posted that he's been offered a slot at Bilster Berg the day before Zandvoort/Zolder in September.

I'm definitely up for that, a lot of driving but if an old man can manage it will be a piece of piss for you youngsters :D .

Best let Paul know if you're interested as I think he's trying to gauge the interest for BB.

Cheers

September 6th is the possible BB. Sept 7 is Zandvoort, Sep 8 is Zolder.

Note: Sep 3 & 4 is DN24 at the Nurburgring.

6-8th Sept

If you get the sat 5th Ferry, arrives 9.30 Sunday morning - Bilster Berg is 3pm till 8pm
Which is a 4 hour drive from the ferry (241 miles)
Means you wouldn’t get back to Zandvoort until midnight for the trackday the following day.
It’s the equivalent of driving from Edinburgh to Oulton Park - doing a 5hr trackday & driving back home straight after it - to get a 6hr sleep for the following trackday Image

I would suggest going the day before Dave. I remember last Bilster Berg it was around 6pm finish and we hoofed it straight to Zandy for the next day. Was horrific weather, 140mph autobahn face wash in the 211. 😂

I’ll be coming from DN24 thur and fri at the ‘Ring. I remember we found a nice hotel in Bad Driburg so good option to stay there the Sat night.

I’d think about staying somewhere en route the Sunday night...

(I’m not sure about doing Zolder in addition)
