So chaps - with a bit of revision, the trip now looks like this;
Return of the Spazs (I'm sure Ali C will have a better title)
Silverstone on the Thursday 10th Nov, then travel to Zandy (most likely Hull - Rotterdam ferry) then onwards for Spa.
Booked so far;
1. Robin

Hotels For Amsterdam / Spa?
What ones ?
think we should start booking them.
im struggling to find one for 9th Nov near Silverstone (at a reasonable price)
Best I could find was a Travelodge in Towcester for £72 (4.6 miles away / 7 min drive)

I’ve used Premier Inn and Ibis, both at Rugby. Far superior to Travelodge and only 30 mins up the M6.

Premier inn Silverstone is pretty decent. Used it the last 2 years. Really handy for the circuit too.

)
There’s usually a few options in stavelot or Malmedy for spa if la source is too rich. Stayed in hotel de charme in the square in stavelot which is, er, charming.

The hotels around Spa (the town) are actually pretty good and offer more dining options.
Think the Radisson there is pretty good and Baz, Ali and myself stayed somewhere nearby last time.
