I'm in limbo.... Supposed to be working, but the client supposedly cancelled this morning....
Fsck knows if that's an actual cancellation, or a "well, I didn't really mean it" cancellation.... (It's a bride, for a wedding vid...)
I can't commit to summit else 'till I know for sure. I may still rock up at the last minute and sweet talk my way on

Oh, and goes without saying - if I'm on, anybody feel free to blag a pax lap, just wander up and say hello - the car has a fairly obvious numberplate on track!

Can't make it, off on holiday on sat.
If anyone is booking, mention Scottish Elises and you'll get £10 off

I'll hopefully be down there on the blag too. That's if I don't have to w*rk the weekend again...

Buggers.
I wonder if your car has to be worth over £10,000 throughout the whole day or just at the start...?

I've seen some ropey 10 granders there!!!
It's really just to dissuade the Hot Hatch likely lads... There are plenty of cars that make it out, that you could buy for significantly less than 10 large....
Christ, if they enforced it, half the SE KH regulars would be knocked back every time!!!

Would be very interested to hear any views on the resurfaced/widened bits i.e. Duffus for starters

I'm in two minds about going.
Want to know what the new track is like but don't expect much adhesion from the new surface until it has "rubbered" in. Which is why they have us fleaing round it so it's more like a proper track next spring.
Cheers
Mac
PS: Still might go it there's some cash rattling around in the bank account and the weather looks OK.

Fit like,
I'm going (Silver Vx220).
This time I've got a full set of new tyres so hopefully will be less prone to spinning!
When I got them changed I couldn't believe how bald they were, no wonder I had no grip on the last SIDC track day...
If anyone is going say hello.

Dunno. Paul Gibson posted it on the Yahoo group so thought I'd best put it up here.

Think its a one off, I got the normal Top marques ad emailed to me by Knockhill. Seen the one on the yahoo group was the same but with an extra banner at the top saying tenner off for Scottish Elises.

Cheers to Shug and some bloke called Colin for the Pax trips! Great fun!
Not brave enough to pop my track day cherry on the slippery wet stuff this time...
Hope you found something worth racing in the end Shug!

That is one monster of a car!
Anyone done one of the training days (Bronze/Silver) at KH?

Nah, the car's sh*t - I'm the monster

Got together with a couple of guys in S1s who were decent and a bloke in a caterham who was good to lap with too, so had some fun in the end!
Dogbreath - saw you out on track a couple of times, but never met up in the pitlane.
Was a good fun day - cut very short for me as I was too lazy to get there for the start and had to naff off an hour early. Too many reds, but I suppose the conditions were to blame, along with the green tarmac. Had some blinding slidy fun though - slow, but entertaining
