Autotest - Dec 3rd...

Post by Zippy » Wed Nov 30, 2005 9:43 pm

Dom & Shugs Autotest is in the W.H. Malcolm's yard in Mary Street in Johnstone - 10:30 sign-in for an 11:00 start. A fun time for all guaranteed.

I'm meeting some east coasters in B&Q in Paisley at 09:30. Details below...

Ok, best place to meet then is the B&Q Car Park at the Abbotsinch Retail
Park - Mac you already know this from the from the Posh Nosh night. This is
about 7 miles from Johnstone so only a short run to the Autotest site.
For everyone else here's how to get there...

Follow the M8 heading for Glasgow Airport. Take exit 27 for Renfrew Paisley,
this is the one 'immediately' before the flyover at Glasgow Airport.
Take the right hand lane immediately you exit the slip as you'll hit a
roundabout in about 50 yards which you need to take the second exit on.
You'll now be going downhill towards Burger King. I'll wait for you just
beyond it in the car park to the right in front of the Comet / Sofa place.
If you're unable to get across into the right hand lane at the slip just
carry on , there's another roundabout about 200 yards further on where you
can double back. Where you're heading is shown as Washington Rd. on the map
on the link below.

As a point of interest there's an Esso filling station here which normally
has the cheapest fuel in the area if you want to fill up beforehand.

Cheers,
Iain.

Bit of a stretch saying I've got owt to do with it :)

I just try and spread the word - this one was organised by the Scottish Sporting Car Club. This time round, Dom and I are just entrants 8)

Supposedly it's on some pretty quick test routes - so should be spectacular!
