No thanks.

Was great of you to organise the previous one and this in no way reflects badly on you but their attitude to safety was just too haphazard for my liking.

2 circuit marshalls, no fire marshalls, no one controlling pit exit and to cap it all only one paramedic, in a frontera, who was facing the wrong way to access the circuit.

Would go down for a karting event in a minute though :D

I'm up for this :thumbsup Even although everything Mac says is true, I still felt safer there with people I know than I have ever felt up at Knockhill with a dozen or so Marshals. Plus the track at Teesside really seemed to suit my wee car and driving style
Monday suits me again for the same reasons as mentioned before.

Respect for organizing another so soon Paul. :cheers

Certainly there wasn't the same level of marshalling you might normaly expect but I didnt at any time feel it any danger because of it.

The only minor issue was the pit lane exit but to be honest I am used to double checking its clear of my own accord anyway as its not uncommon for the KH pit wall to release you into the path of another car doing 100+. Been there both in the pit lane and the pit straight.

At no point was the track anything close to being too busy and I thought the driver etiquette was impeccable, which is what you would expect from it being a club day.

I would be up for another visit.

I'm definitely up for it. I did have one questionable moment when the guy waved me out of the pits for me to catch sight of a fast approaching Evo in my mirror, but I just held off and went in behind it.

As a trackday novice, I didn't really have much to compare it to, but I definitely felt safe knowing everyone that was on track with me.

Count me in Paul. :thumbsup

Count me in

I did notice the sloppy marshalling but at no time did I feel in any danger :thumbsup

No thanks from me.
I agree with what Mac is saying but my main reason for is that if I'm taking another day off work and driving all that way (4-5 hours for me) I'd rather do somewhere different like Croft or Cadwell.

You should have been on for the last hour, the marshalls buggered off home early.

I understand where folk are coming from with the marshalling but it wouldn't stop me going. At the end of the day it was a budget trackday so budget service has to be expected. They knew where the spins would be and covered them pretty well. 8)

Don't think the tight slow bends helped my diff any mind you. :(

Although I would go to Teesside again, I'm with what Simon said
lets try another track!

Did you know I was facing the wrong way when you came round the corner? What if I was across the track?? For the sake of another two blokes (even on minimum wage) it would make the place so much safer.

I suppose due to the industry I work in safety is very much one of my main concerns.

Cheers

Mac

(PS: I might be able to have my arm twisted if I've got some Caterham bits by then as it's a great test circuit)

Paul

I'm with Simon. It's a bit far from ABZ for the quality. Looking forward to Cadwell.
