SIDC @ KH, Saturday 28th July 9 - 12

Post by JohnStewart » Mon Jun 18, 2007 3:36 pm

Heads up everyone - just to let you know that there's only a couple of spaces left for this event now, and if you are interested my advice would be to book now to avoid disappointment.

It's an open pit lane session for 3 hours from 9am to 12, and will cost a mere £80 if you are an SIDC member and £88 if you aren't. Includes free instruction if required (ideal for fine tuning your braking and turn-in points, even if you are a regular), plus the use of the wheel and tyre van for changing wheels/tyres, storing stuff whilst you are on track.

Remember, this is the same day as the Time Attack/Drifting series, so it's going to be a great day out. If you are just coming along to watch/take photos etc, if you are there before about 10:30am, then you most likely won't need to pay to watch the TimeAttack competition and Drifting in the afternoon & early evening ;)

Just to add, that there are a couple of Elises taking part in the Time Attack series, including a 380bhp one which with it's power to weight ratio should be amongst the front runners.

I will be up, hoping Tom is too busy doing something else to get Ed's second driver, but to be honest more than likely up for photos, the banter and to get everyone in the mood for DBII!

Nice!

Dave

I'd really like to do this, but can't afford the £££ right now. Will need to wait and see if there are spaces left come payday next Thursday. I don't suppose I can reserve a space pending payment next week?

Come on Ariel - I'm booked in for this - either the RLC will be there or I'll be grinning like and idiot and scaring myself silly in the Atom.
