i'm thinking about going to this - my cars deffo 10k+ - but who decides if your car isn't worth £10k
my mate wants to go in his 98 impreza sti, but doesn't want to turn up and be told 'NO!'

It has been discussed on here in the past, and general consensus was that if its a tidy, clean and roadworthy looking car and you dont pitch up wearing a lacoste trackie and drinking buckie you`ll be fine.

Last one I went to definitely wasn't a hot marques night....
... remember the sierra cossie driving like an arse and passing whilst going round the hairpin anyone...??? or what about the buggies ??? since when is a track orientated buggy a hot marque ffs???

They certainly don't enfore the £10k rule. But I prefer the Rage Buggies to some of the high value motors like E46 M3s etc that are slow in the corners but won't back off on the straights to let you get past.
Can't make next Top Marques anyway however, now school football season has resumed, only Wednesdays and Fridays any good for track days due to managerial responsibility.

I think you'll be fine mate, don't worry, just use your mirrors!
There's generally a couple of £100k+ cars out on track too....
Maybe the marshalls will have found their black flag in time for this one, it seemed to have been lost at the 'cossie' one
I agree about the buggers that won't move over on the straight though.
Just think that if they call it a HM night, the cars should all be road legal as a minimum and really should be cars at the end of the day...
