Eliseparts Gear Linkage Kit - Free to good home!

Post by Derek » Sat Mar 04, 2006 5:30 pm

As part of my ongoing K series clear out, I've got the linkage part of the above looking for a good home. I put the new bushes in the car, but didn't bother changing the linkage itself.

In the pack is a new linkage and the original nylon bushes (although they have covered <1,000 miles).

Still got the fitting instructions too.

May suit an S1 which doesn't have the rose jointed linkage fitted.

Let me know if you want it.

Derek

Aye - might get a quickshift at the same time. Also getting the new throttle multimplier arm thingy from Geary...

Amazing how it tales someone else pointing out how sloppy the controls feel 'till you realise yourself. I've got a good inch of free play in the throttle and the gearshift requires some luck at the moment.

Holy crap. That last post didn't read too well. Must type slower

That guy Muffin supplied me with the poly bushes and it transformed my gearshift. There's no need to pay top dollar for the Eliseparts kit as it's these bushes that make the difference.

Shug,

PM me your address and I'll post it through.

You could use the nylon bushes I've got till you get the proper ones.

Derek (off to the garage to dig it out faction).
