The Wife has been pestering me to get "another 4 seater" in case our main family car konks out. So with much regret, here is the advert. (I will also be posting on Pistonheads when I get some decent photos sorted out this weekend):
One of only 85 135 Sport Series 1 Elise's, produced November / December 1998 from the first production run of 50 cars this is car no: 15. Generally regarded as the most desirable S1 Elise specification. T – registration (1999).
• 135 Spec engine upgrade (actually produces closer to 145 BHP) and factory fitted with very desirable close ratio gearbox.
• Comes with Lotus hardtop (£1000+ option) and hardtop storage bag.
• Currently has 71,000 miles on the clock. Running very sweetly.
• Factory exhaust through pipe fitted, catalytic converter included for MOT (!).
• New replacement disks and pads fitted all round end of last year, two new wheel bearings recently installed + rear shocker replaced.

• Tyres all good, rears replaced last week (directional, BF Goodrich’s on front, Continentals on rear).
• I have a spare rear wheel (with tyre fitted). (Elise's doesn’t come with a spare (no space), only puncture repair can).
• Thatcham Category 1 alarm (Standard Lotus spec – factory fitted).
• Sparkplugs and leads replaced last year along with air and oil filters.
• MOT'd to January 2010.
• Taxed to May 2010.
• All Service history, garage bills, receipts, MOT’s etc. available.
