My Mum is about to take the plunge and change her much loved Saxo.
Bought new from John Martin Group in 2000 - came from what was latterly the Lotus showroom at Sighthill in fact! - and used by my Mum for shopping and short motorway runs ever since.

MOT to Jan 2012
Taxed to end June
Regularly serviced, mostly at local mechanic in Linlithgow.
Full receipt detail until late 2009 including cambelt service done at that time
Thereafter we have the odd thing for new battery and the like.
New brake calipers last month.
It gets serviced each year just before MOT.
Sunroof, CD radio, electric windows, extremely tidy inside and out.

Peppy 1.6 8-valve motor, shared with Peugeot 106 Rallye as it happens. Great fun to drive, economical, sensible insurance for our younger generation.
