I've owned the car since March 2011. A week after buying the car, a dropped valve caused the original engine to be wrecked. An engine from a 42K mile Clio Trophy was sourced and fitted by Renault specialists Rentec in Edinburgh. At the same time, a new timing belt, dephaser belt and clutch were fitted, along with a full service being carried out. A refurbished heater fan resistor pack was fitted July 2012 when the original broke (meaning the fan was either full on or off, a common problem with these cars). In November 2012, a new alternator was fitted at a cost of £480 by my local main Renault dealer.
I also have a set of 15" OZ F1 wheels - these are NOT from a 172, but I have a set of spigot rings that allow them to be fitted. These wheels have a set of Toyo R888s on them which all have road-legal tread levels. The wheels and tyres are available by negotiation separately.
I'm selling now as I need a more practical car. I'm based in Fife, Scotland, just over the Forth bridge (20 mins from Edinburgh airport) and accessible by train.
I'm looking for £2900 ono
Thanks for looking
Jamie
