The car has 4 months Tax and is due for an MOT in July 08 - all old bills and invoices for everything as per picture.
I have a set of A048s on the car and had full geometry and alignment done recently.
I fitted a new steering rack purchased brand new from Titan in February 2008. After fitting the rack and new track rod ends I had a full geometry and alignment carried out.
Last week, the car had a newly fettled head fitted along with a new head gasket, manifold gasket, and alternator, as well as new valves. So it has now had refreshed top and bottom end.
When the car went to Jude Performance on 17th March a new Motorsport engine cover was fitted and painted, along with an Aerocatch and custom bracket. The original Perspex cover will be included in the sale.
The paintwork is in good condition, and has the usual stonechips to the front and to the sills common to S1 Exiges and Elises, in line with the mileage.
As you can probably tell from the above (and if you have managed to read this far without getting bored) I have paid attention to the mechanical bits and pieces that are often overlooked on these cars and ensuring that is all top notch.
I feel I have priced the car fairly given the mechanical condition and history. I even spent a few hours calling all the previous servicing garages and had the old bills faxed to me to gather the history for the car!
This is the fourth Lotus I have had in the last 3 years (S1 Elise, S2 Exige, S2 Elise then this car) and I am only selling it because I have bought a Honda converted S1 Elise.
I can pick buyers up from Glasgow airport or station as I live in the city centre.
I have uploaded 28 close up and other photos to my photobucket account, please email me if you want the link.
