Im after a bit for the dashboard, the piece that says elise on it, and also an outdoor cover. Since some swallows set up camp in our garage my car is being literally shat on daily.
If anyone knows of either about let me know!

The Elise sticker was missing from the left side of the dash on my car when i got it. Bought a new silver one from Murrays and it was the most unstickiest sticker ever!!! Ended up havin to spend a carefull hour with superglue and got it on eventually. Plus... you dont wanna make a mistake with superglue on the dash, coz it's a fecking nightmare to get off.

Ah... confusion....
Im after the whole piece, i.e. the black strip part. The previous owner stuck a Virgin Mary to it with superb glue and it`s taken off the black.

Showercap? Is that the one that covers windscreen / and where the roof normally is? Im after a full car cover pref, to stop the birds turding on it.
How much for the showercape anyway?

It's the one that covers just the windscreen and the roof.
It cost me £68.51 to be precise and I 'm hoping to seel for the same.
if your after a full car cover there is one on ebay at the moment though.

I didn't realise that piece of dashboard was actually removable until the other week when the chuckle bros. body shop aka Hardy Inglis, scratched mine and the carbon insert, thought it was all one piece. Reckon it would be a hard job finding one of those for sale, how much from Lotus ???
Eliseparts.com and Bell & Colvill do covers specifically for the elise but they are expensive 100quid approx you don't want to pay that kinda cash just for it to get shat on lol

It will get shat on, so just gone for a cheapo ebay number at 25quid. Its not elise-specific, its for all sorts of small low cars but it will do, as the cars in a carport anyway.
As for the dash part, im still looking.....

If you use a full car cover outside be carefull as any dirt on the car will be rubbed against the paintwork by the flapping / moving of the cover in the wind. This happened to my Dad, he left a coved on for a while and when he took it off the car looked as if it had been finely rubbed with wet'n dry all over.

Good call, didnt think of that.
Will try and keep it on tight. As long as it stops fecking cats walking about on top of my car i`m happy.

Are you looking for the dash piece with the cut out for the stereo? When I bought mine it had the full strip (no stereo) in place but I'm supposed to be collecting the split dash (to allow a stereo to be fitted) from the guy when he gets home from Baku next month. I've no intention of putting a stereo in though so if you want to buy it let me know...

Check on SELOC for a re-trimming post in technical discussion. I saw a guy there get his whole dash re-trimmed in leather...kinky.
Cheers,
