My Elise S1

Selling my Elise as I don't use it now I am a "commuter" and I can't justify its use as an ornament - haven't drivin it in 3 weeks.

Specs -

1997 R in Azure Blue with Magnolia Leather
31k miles (will give exact later)
Lotus Sports Exhaust with (recently fitted) De-Cat
Standard Discs with (recently fitted) Greenstuff Pads and S/S brake hoses
Elise Parts Quickshift Kit and Uprated Gear Linkage (both recently fitted)
Factory-Fitted Alarm Upgrade.

Full service history - combination of Dealer and Specialist.
Last Serviced in February, MoT till Feb '07 and taxed till August '06.

Private Plate not included.

I don't really want to sell it, but I don't really need/use it enough. and hopefully she'll go to a good home.

The only problem is that I don't like lynns car (206) so that'll be going too, with the intention of getting something semi-practical (for lynn as she will use it more) yet daft (for me).

see the other s1 thread for sale. i was engaged in a big long chat about mx5, s2000, etc and all their various merits as practical, fun, 2 seat sportscars.

Hey folks,

My beautiful (a bit cheesey) Elise is on ebay with 42 watchers and several bids to date, plus several offers via email. If any of you guys are "watchers" please pm. For those of you that have already contacted me, I will e-mail with history and detailed pix on Saturday 12th.

And as for replacement, the front-runners seem to be a TT or EVO VIII FQ 300/320. Lynn loved the scoob, hence the evo idea, but a TT may suit Lynn better for everyday use (plus cheaper insurance, service and fuel costs).
