TBH mate i think it is a little on the high side.
There are private 135s and 111s around for that kind of money, although you do have the hardtop. Unfortunately s2s have taken a real hammering over the last year or so. Within 40 miles of the burgh there are two 111s for sale, same age or younger with less mileage on at 16,7 and 17,2 and a 03 111s at murrays for 17.995.
Sorry for being the bearer of bad news.

I really hate to say it and I hate these threads on selcoc but £16k is still too much. There was a bit in a newspaper yesterday about which are the least depreciating cars and the Elise was 4th but the example still showed a 3 year old S2 being worth only £14.5k as a trade in. The Mini was top IIRC.
So I reckon more like £15k is what you should expect to get close to.
Sorry

A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
My 135R was for sale at the high end but that's what I want for it.
If I really wanted to sell quick I would drop the price but it wouldn't be worth my while.
Forgetting price, I also think you will struggle to sell due to the K series.
Everyone wants Toyota now.
