*** AWAY TO A NEW HOME NOW ***
OK, before I throw this out, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to give this old peice of kit a home, what with GT5 being just over a week away.

I've got to say up-front that I actually inherited this from a fellow SE'r, but it didn't come with the power pack. So, whilst it works, there is currently no force-feedback/rumble. I 'guess' that if you had a spare ac/dc converter/power pack, the force-feedback may work again.. but I make no warranties on that !! Or, you could just use it without the force feedback.

I used this wheel with GT5 Prologue on PS3, and also on LFS on the PC... and it worked OK (from memory & think I just had to set the profile on GT5P to another Logitech wheel, & it worked). It's got a good feel to the wheel, has flappy paddles, and the gear changer can be mounted on left or right. It actually feels marginally nicer in the hand than my new Logitech wheel as it's a far chunkier rim (oh-err).
If you want to use it on PC, then there is some Logitech driver/profiler software that you can download from 'tiniternet.

1 final thing... the sensor for the brake pedal needs adjusted because it gives the effect that the brake is 'dragging'. If you put your foot under the pedal & lift, then it's fine... there's just a slight dead zone which the sensor is picking up. This dead zone can be calibrated out on some games I think (seems to be OK on the PC)... but I couldn't calibrate it out on GT5P.
I found pedal problems plastered all over the internet for this model, & a decent write up on how to fix it:-

I did actually take the pedal box apart, grease it up & fiddle about a bit. Fixed it for a few weeks & it came back. I think probably the little potmeter for the brake pedal is needing glued as there was a little bit of play when I looked. That woud probably fix it for good.

Pick up from Livingston... or could possibly drop off if reasonably close.
I have no signature.
