Post by point n squirt » Wed Jan 05, 2011 6:32 pm

Thought i would put this up here for you guys , long story short my Dad is closing down his Engineering shop [20,000 sqr feet] and im giving him a hand to get rid of the last bits and peices. All the machines are gone but there is 40 odd years off stuff that has to go asap. Theres too much to mention but i had a look today and list a few things .

Acetylene torch with wheeled carrier for both bottles all works
large workbenches home made clyde built
50 kg tin of Q8 oils greese unopend
Steel shelfs full of metal pull out containers would suit large garage
Large steel container ideal for a building site or similar. theses things cost money
lots off bits off machines that cost £££££££ back in the day and drawers full of cutters , drills, spaners etc.

So if you want a rumage to see if theres any luckys give me a pm or call 07768704368. We are not really looking for much £ just need the place empted and like the thought of someone getting some use out of them. Have not put this anywhere eles just for SE rs at the moment. Im going to be there all day Sunday 9th but can do any time before. After Sunday its all getting chucked. Its in Motherwell if you come bring old foot wear and me a tea just milk thanks. :D Thanks Ian

Acetylene torch with wheeled carrier for both bottles all works - any bottles with it? how much?

Also do you have any plates of alloy/aluminium/steel about 10inches square, anything about 1inch thick? Anything around those sizes?

Also dont suppose you have a metal tube about 3foot in length about 8 inches diameter? Again approx sizes not too picky!

Cheers

Kevin

How does £30 sound for the torch. It a bit old but works fine but theres no bottles they were handed back to the supplier. Dad says he had loads of bits of metal that would have done but its all in the skip. Theres loads of old crap there but one mans crap is another mans treasure.
