Standard Exhaust for S1

Post by jj » Sat Aug 20, 2005 4:08 pm

Available if anyone needs one. Its the huge heavy one that rusts.

It has had new tailpipes though less than a year ago.

They go for about 40quid on ebay.

Is it possible to change tail pipes in situ? If so then I'm interested.

Mine are really manky and cant be far from falling apart.

Richard,

It is possible, but you`d be better off changing the whole exhaust over - The pipes on mine are on pretty solid, and I have a receipt showing them to have been new in June last year, so if yours are old then they will probably be well rusted on!

I was going for an upgraded zorst when I get a chance to hear some in action. I'm not after particually loud just a bit more refined (ie not the hairdryer/sewing machine I have now). I was planning just to cx the manky tails until then. I'll investigate mine tomorrow and see how bad things are.....

Cheers

Anyone in need of one of these before it gets hits the local tip!

If I take this down to the skips in greenock, some pikey will have it for his transit!
