A difficult situation... my closest friend passed away last week and his family asked me about what to do with his bike.
It's a CBR1000RR 2008 model in black. Lovely bike, always garaged and only riden in the dry at the weekends. My friend was a polisher, he had the bike from new and the bike has always been kept to a high standard. I won't be able to get the full details until we start to go through his stuff probably next week.
The dealer is prepared to buy it into stock, but I suspect they'll be pretty tight on the money as you'd expect. I thoroughly believe he would have wanted someone to get the benefit of a good deal rather than the dealer making a profit on it. The bike will likely be priced competitively so as to ensure a quick sale. We will ensure there will be a lawyers letter releasing the property officially.
