roof needed

hi guys

First post so i hope you can help?

the cable on the front of my roof has snapped for the second time!!

now the cable is too short to repair!!

I know that my roof is the same as the S2 and I'm looking for either a replacement roof or if anyone has a roof that has been ripped etc and is looking to offload it please let me know!!

If anyone has any other ideas i'd love to hear them.

another idea is to buy a new 1 ??? *

* U2U Burt on SELOC, he just had his replaced and has a large cut in the old ( short ) roof.

thanx folks,

Apparently i can get a new cable from lotus at around £25, vauxhall were unhelpful as usual and said the only thing that could be done was buy a new roof at a cost of £700!!!

begining to wonder why i buy any parts from vauxhall as i've had a few bits replaced and they're always cheaper from Lotus!
