He committed to buy it without viewing, but changed his mind after I took a days holiday to pick it up for him
I have a tdi Defender and I think he thought this would be much the same - it isn't. It does need a fair bit of work and even the best ones will be lucky to get to 50mph.
However, it does have a galvanised chasis that was fitted along with a reconditioned 2.25 diesel engine around 3 years ago.
It was driven daily up until a few weeks ago, but hasn't been MOT''d in some time.
Dad now has the V5 in his name.
Price is 1000 pounds. If it doesn't sell I will restore it myself in a few years, paint it Landy green, take the roof off and use it as a summer runner.
