On Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 of a 1998 vintage fitted with 4 nice chunky snow/winter tyres and i've never got stuck, had to reverse a mile one night due to snow drifts but didn't get stuck.
Does about 35 to 40Mpg it starts and stops when you tell it too.

To be honest its in far from perfect condition but its a 13year old hatchback. It will happily last the winter I'm only selling as i have a new shoddy mirca which does 48Mpg
