Most of you will know the car anyway as it was Simon Arnot's (SE moderator).
Be quick if you want it as I could yet change my mind - wont be the first time!

Lotus S2 Elise 111S (2004 04) £13,750
Previous owner bought this car new from Murray Motor Company in Edinburgh. Having known him and the car for some time, I jumped at the opportunity last year to buy the car when he decided on a change.
39,000 Miles. Taxed and MOT’d until April 2012
Full service history – initially by Murray Motor Company, then specialist in recent years.
Magnetic blue in colour with unmarked blue leather upholstery and door cards. Full black carpet set (not just mats).
The car is in very good condition inside and out with just a few stone chips on the front clam.
Standard on this car from the factory were
• Hard top (included along with hard top storage bag).
• Electric windows
• Alcantara dash
• Central locking
• Driving lights
• Original Blaupunkt CD/Radio and 4 speaker system
The following add-ons have improved the car
• Stainless steel Larini exhaust
• Hurricane induction kit
• Protech adjustable suspension (damper and ride height)
• HID headlights
Yokohama LTS AD07s fitted all round with the rears having only completed 1,200 miles.
4 x new EBC brake discs earlier this year (36,200 miles) with new brake pads all round.
“A” service completed at 36,200 miles in April 2011 as per service schedule.
This is my 3rd Lotus. My last one being a S2 Exige which was a great car but lacked low down torque. Having owned a S1 135 Sport previously I longed for the drivability of the K Series engine and the 111S hasn’t disappointed. It is a fantastic road car.
The only reason I am selling is I only have a single garage and do not wish to go through another Scottish winter leaving my daily driver outside. I also have a hankering for an exige S, but that will have to wait until the spring.
This is a very cheap car to run. It will do 36-40mpg no problem and only costs £145 for a year’s road tax. My insurance with Competition Car Insurance is only £358 for 7,500 miles. Sports car motoring doesn’t get any cheaper than this.
I am due to renew my insurance in the middle of November so am keen to shift the car before then. If it doesn’t sell by then I will simply keep it and buy new gloves and an ice scraper!
