So sadly the FD2 has to go.
Honda Civic Type R FD2 4 Door Saloon.
Imported new in 2008 by Dicksons for the previous owner. Its on a 58 plate.
I Bought the car with 17k on the clock early 2011.
Car has had a full Honda Service History. Town and Country carried out the first two services till i took ownership. Last big service was done in September 2011 by Phoneix Honda in Paisley.
Valve Clearances and Gearbox oil changed at this time, as well as everything else required for the 3 year service.
Car also has MOT till Sept 2012.
I have done interim Oil Changes, using Silkolene Pro S oil. This is what was also put in at the last service.
Engine wise the car is standard, only upgrades to the car are Hel Steel brake lines all round, Fitted by Gerry at Performancetec, RBF600 Fluid, and XP8 pads on the front. New Standard Discs and standard pads on the rear.
Car also has a panel filter.
Mileage is sitting on 23k at the moment, and will not increase till May 2012 when the car will be put back on the road. Car has been off the road since End of September.
Road Tax is out End of February. Can come to an agreement with that in the price.
I work overseas, and the FD2 is used as a 2nd car, never out in Winter months.
Its garaged and has a custom made breathable car cover over it and a gortex engine cover, so certainly not affected by any dampness.
It also has a slow tickle charger connected. CAT 1 Alarm and Immobiliser.
You will see from the pics that the car is in exceptional condition. Front end suffers from the usual stone chips.
Tyres have life left in them, but fronts will need changed in next few thousand miles, rears have plenty of life!!
