It's a 2004 MG ZT 1.8 petrol (An engine good enough for lotus no less). Currently on 76k and running well. I'll add better pictures asap.
We bought it about 14 months ago as a temporary car after returning from overseas and it's done us well. It does have some scratches and marks on paintwork as you'd expect for age.
Mot until end of June 2015. Getting about 32MPG.
Looking for £600 ono please. I'm about to SORN it as I need to cancel the insurance to use the no claims.
Good points:
Engine has had the HG fully repaired by previous owner and shows no signs of issues returning. Invoice included in the file.
It's a great size with huge boot and space for 4 adults.
Euro NCAP 4 star - yup it's a safe shed.
18" alloys
Tyres are Kumho KW27 winter tyres, fronts 4-5mm and rears 5-6mm ( Will confirm shortly)
was unstoppable in the snow.
bluetooth stereo and IPod connector
We've replaced discs and pads all round within last year ( the brake pad indicator wire broke so by itme i realised they were ok I just swapped them all out anyway)
Bad points:
Its due a big service inc cambelt change ( easier in this engine bay than an Elise but still beyond my skills and time)
Hunts on idle when cold, once warm runs perfectly. Been like this for a few months, I tried cleaning IACV valve which did improve it.
Drivers seat bolster has some wear. TADTS
Rear drivers side door doesnt unlock properly with central locking, I have a replacement lock but the Torx screws defeated me when I tried to fit it (Will fit it next weekend if I still have car)
Water ingress in boot, likely to be seal around the rear lights. Again I'll sort this at weekend.
