1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 £900 ono

Post by Digital » Fri Oct 13, 2006 9:35 pm

Hope no-one minds me posting this here, but it is sort of a junior Elise...

After a fun year of ownership it's time to sell my little red MR2 :( It's been a great car to own, has been utterly reliable and great fun to drive, but 2 mid-engined RWD 2 seaters isn't a great combination, so...

1989 G reg Toyota MR2 Mk1 1.6 NA (122bhp)
95000 miles
Super Red
Mot 02 November 2007
Tax end Nov 2006
Electric windows/mirrors
Central locking
Removable sunroof
15" OZ Saturn alloys
Yokohama A539s all round with masses of tread
Full sized spare alloy
K&N panel air filter
Black Diamond brake pads all round
Goodridge braided brake hoses
Motul DOT5.1 brake fluid
Blaupunkt CD player
Fox immobiliser
Original Toyota toolkit :D

The car has just been MOT'd (10/10/06), nothing required done. Was also given an oil and filter change at the same time. Timing belt was replaced at 92000 miles (Nov 2005), along with fuel filter and spark plugs.

Great little cars, had one for 4 years. :)
Good luck with the sale!

I'd love that - don't think Mandy will let me get another car though.

We are currently sitting at 3 car + 1 works car in a 2 person household.

I'll pass on the details to a few lads in the work though - one or two of them might be interested

Thanks all :D

Worked out that my insurance for the VX plus my recent tyre bill would have paid for the MR2 - cheap fun car for the right person
