I'm sure I remember that being reviewed on TG or in the magazine - thought it looked hot at the time. Looking back, there's sommit very Z8 about it

Yep, used the same chassis as the 7, albeit with extra strengthening.
The red one which Tiff drove for TG was at a SIDC at KH last Sept, its owner got drunk at mine the night before

It was me who was very close to buying the Strathcarron that came up for sale in lockerbie, except I nearly bought it 18 months ago, before this chap bought it (you follow?).
It was a dealer in Sheffield? (Ross, remind me exactly where) and I had it inspected by a local Caterham enthusiast. He reckoned it was really well engineered and put together.
It was up at £9995 18months ago and I reckon it couldve been had for £8.5k. It looked a bargain, Low miles etc etc, I still have detailed photos of the interior etc.
I couldnt shift my Elise at the time so missed out.
Paul, can you divulge how much the lockerbie guy wanted for it when it was advertised a few weeks ago.?

Dave - it was indeed a dealer in Sheffield - Norman V (he of jacks, wenches & spaniard bulk buy fame) looked at it - near the Meadowhell shopping centre

I spotted that too but didn't want to come across as being a perv...
There's lots of competition here anyways...
