For sale due to K20 conversion...
In February the head gasket went. When the head was off we discovered it had been skimmed a few times already and not very well so I decided to replace it. I bought a new oem fully-dressed head from Elise parts with a multi-layer gasket:
Brand new Full 'K' Series Cylinder Head including cams and all seals/gaskets
Manifold Studs and Lock Nuts
MLS Head Gasket
New head bolts
200ltr/min water pump
Cam belt
Auto tensioner
82 degree thermostat
All parts from Eliseparts (invoices available) at over £1000.
The Elise was at 85000 miles when we changed the head, it's now on 87k and I had my mind made up on a Honda by Craig so the k-series now needs a new home! It runs very sweetly.
Included will be the full engine/box including starter/headers/alternator/clutch etc - basically everything not being used in the Honda conversion.
