Chester 626 milling machine

Post by thinfourth » Sun Mar 19, 2017 1:01 pm

For sale one Chester 626 milling machine, 2007 vintage.

Downsides

It isn't in the prettiest of cosmetic condition but it is good for ten years old.
A big dent in the top when gravity won while trying to put a lifting beam in above it.
The slides have some surface rust due to being stored in the worlds dampest shed.
The switch is cracked but functional
One of the handles has lost its woodruff key.

Upsides

Very low hours
The table has no holes in it due to a pretty good record on drilling the bits which are meant to be drilled
Never raced nor rallied
McApe has never used it

Included

A set of R8 collets
A R8 Jacob drill
Spare set of belts
Maybe a milling vice depending on my mood, if its raining and if I have acquired a better one before then.
Egyptian tech moving device (6 pieces of plastic pipe) Though i might keep this if i am in one of those modes.

Boring bits (no that kind of boring)

It is 240V and works off a 3 pin plug
Can be split into 2 heavy bits and a cupboard
Can assist with loading if you have an open top trailer.
If you aren't too far away i can bring it to you in exchange for beer (no fecking tenants) If you can offload.
Weighs 370Kg
Postcode AB39 2UE (that will get you within 2 miles but not to the front door)

Price £550 no haggling as that is bottom of the market
Must be collected by 2nd of April as then it is off to the bay of fools

Has been offered to brother in law at a cheaper price so beat him to it.
