my exige for sale

Post by jj » Wed Oct 25, 2006 10:07 am

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/107539.htm

I know its been on here before, but I am thinking I could do with selling it now - its on at a good price (cheapest s2 exige in the country!).

After the drive out west at the weekend I was thinking I didnt want to sell it, and I dont, but being sensible it should go.

Any q`s ask away.

JJ

mate if it really has to go id put it on Autotrader aswell.
Market appears to be dead and everyone keeps cutting their prices.
Ive only had one email asking about my soft-top!
Theres a 05 minter in black (10,500 miler) with touring, a/c and stage 2 in london thats on at £24,500 thats never been tracked(what a waste...).
Mine is therefore staying put. TBH i would keep yours now until spring to give you a realistic chance of selling.
Anyways,
Good luck with the sale! :thumbsup

I think I will put it on Autotrader in a couple of days. See how SELOC / PH / exiges.com goes.

Theres even a 54 perf pack with forged wheels on SELOC with 5k miles at 22500!

Think its deader than a dead thing. I am just glad I dont have to sell.

Being in Scotland doesnt really help in my opinion.

Dunno about the location but your photos will defo help set it out from the crowd.

Still cannot belive that people think they can sell a "expensive" car with 640*480 camera phone pics.

Its typical though - when buying there are none for sale, then when I want to sell mine 75% of the yellow S2 Exiges in Scotland are for sale!

There is NO WAY there are 3 people in Scotland looking to buy a yellow S2 Exige just now......

and this doesnt help!

You're right... there may only be one person looking: I'd wager the cheapest one goes first :thumbsup

Not always. Other things come into it such as remaining warranty, has it been tracked, FLSH, any mods blah blah.

Also, that CO one seems odd. It says it has a warranty until 05/07 but the Lotus warranty is 2 years AFAIK and if it's a used warranty, it may not be transferrable.

The other thing is, spending over £20k may put people off buying privately, especially with no warranty or comeback.

Pay attention fannybaws. I was stating that people might not necessarily buy the cheapest car out there, which is NOT your one.

I know what it means , just not a) the need or b) the merit of its use in this topic. Now, off out it unless you want to buy my car.
