Well after a year of fun, and quite a few miles, unfortunately the time has come to sell my Scooby to release some funds to spend on the house
It's a '03 WRX in silver, I bought it just over a year ago from S&S in Ayr when it had 30k miles - now it has done 49k. When I bought it I had the Prodrive pack fitted otherwise it is standard. It's got a full historym, all Subaru except for the last one which was done at the famous Greersport this afternoon because that seemed the decent thing to do! So it's just had a new cambelt and brake pads (still being bedded in obviously as I have literally just driven back from the garage!).
Hopefully you'll see that you are getting a car that has been looked after, no trackdays except for a couple of laps (that's laps not visits) at Kames last summer, I've an Elise as well which I use for this sort of thing, obviously the majority of the miles I have done have been M-Way (up and down the M77). I won't wax lyrical about how just astonishgly competent and quick the car is, if you are on this forum you already know that
I will say that if there is a quicker way to get from A-B, especially if it has been raining, then I have yet to find it.I'm not in a desperate hurry to sell but I've already bought the replacement which I pick up this weekend (a d-d-d-iese no I can't say it. I suppose it still has a turbo...) but I'm realistic about price.
The car is in good condition except for the alloys which are a bit scuffed, I always intended to replace them with bigger ones but never got around to it, the tyres are Toyos, I replaced all four a few months ago.
How much, errm i don't know. How much do you think? I've looked at Parkers but that seemed a bit optimistic so I'll say I'm open to offers until I do some more research...
