WANTED - seats

Dear SE'ers,

I am on the lookout for some seats.

Preferably S2 seats or 111s seats, call me a pooftah but the ones I have in my S1 are not the comfiest!

I am not bothered about them being leather, as I like the suede / Leathery ones, but all the eBay ones / SELOC ones are down saaaaarf. So does anyone know where there are any in scrappies / anyone who has some?

Iain T (timmsky) can organise decent postal rates for the darn sarfers, if that's the problem?

Its more the PITA factor of getting them sent up / noot seeing them first.

Im hoping an SE'er has some / knows of some, I go in van pick them up and exchange $ and then thats it job done instantly.

I clocked those ones on the bay cheers, but I'm trying for some local(ish) ones first.

Or if any S2owners miss the classic S1 seats I would do a swap....

TBH mate, you'll be bloody lucky to get them locally.... not enough cars in Scotland for things like that to be randomly floating about (unless you have the luck of the oirish)...

You'd be well advised to proceed stright to plan B and start looking to ship some up from the south.

Those would be spot on as they are grey and black and so is my car....

I have emailed him asking if I could arrange collection - his ad says local pick up only.

As for adding padding, maybe I should just bolt in one of these?

You could send your own seats down for a factory trim and specify extra padding.

I know if I every got a S1 it would be one of the first thing I did with it - even with an arse the size of mine I still feel like I am falling when I get into an S1.

I just checked out what it costs on the B&C website - £233 a seat.....

Good if you are after something custom like pink furry and suede.....

My plan is to buy S2 seats for the £250-300 mark and sell the ones I have (some black leather S1 ones just sold for 275 on ebay which is a bit mad), so it shouldnt really cost me too much to change.

Try Hanger 111 - Lock tends to do stuff just above factory prices, or look at the lotus website.

I know it ain't cheap but I don't think it is that expensive.

Sheeesh, those s2 seats on the bay are now up at over 300squid! I have seen the same ones going for waaay less....

Anyone know of any written off lotii in Scotland?
