TT TD Video

Post by Shug » Tue Jun 12, 2007 11:11 am

Short video uploaded to Google, so poxy quality.

Taken from the Archos headcam that I gaffered to my helmet (easy, tiger) Taken on my first session of open pitlane, after which I discovered 8 psi too much in my rears and had added about 8 clicks of damping - you can see it push like a fecker through the hairpin. Had lent my cam to Iain by this point though

The Nitron/A038 combo did well in the grip stakes. Got it backing into the hairpin a bit later on, but it was understeering too much for me in this first run out...

There seems to be a anomoly with this recording as amazingly some other footage has been spliced in to it ......

Oh and who is the comedian in the car with you at 3.29 ?

Comedian = me  I'm fairly sure I could smell Greg's shorts from my car!

It's just an edited chunk of about 12 mins I got in total.

Can you find the energy to punt i on stage 6 as I am keen to see the quality diff between a bullet cam and that directly off a hand held.

It'll have to wait mate, as I'm at work. I was impressed by it - not much in the way of quality degredation compared to a handheld and so much more flexible in how you mount it.

Here is an example of Archos Bullet Camera Knockhill footage on Stage 6.
