Ah, right, I'd seen that - I thought maybe you'd seen the leaflet and it was the same as the press release.
So both are from the Lotus press office, but the quoted performance is not exactly the same. I wonder why?
Autocar states "the [Jim Clark] supercharged Elise-based model retains the standard car’s performance"
Top Gear states "Mechanically, it's a stock Elise SC"
If I understand correctly, it is a standard Elise SC with:
Hardtop (although I bet the quoted performance is without)
Leather seats and wooden gear knob
"high performance Lotus Sport wheels" - maybe Lotus quote faster accleration and a lower top speed due to the wheels - I wonder if they're lower inertia but less aerodynamic, or whether the rear tyre size is smaller?
Ah, wait a minute, it's got traction control too - maybe Lotus think that's worth a tenth of a second?
