Yeh power figures about right, the amount you can get out of them these days is superb. there is a company down south that put bike heads on ithe aseries block and can achieve 180bhp.

The box wont hold up for long thats for sure. needs SC boc and drop gears but if i manage not to dump the clutch i shoudl be okay for a bit.

You'll probably have issues with the centre drop gear moving sideways under load with that sort of power as well, best to upgrade to full roller bearings if you change them.

Nice. Mini's are such a rare sight on the roads nowadays. Both of mine have been in storage for the past 11 years. If I eventually have my garage extended they'll both be up here and on the road, I miss driving them loads.

two in storage! is the picture for your user account taken in monaco.

I also have a mate that has loads of minis stored away, a silly fast turbo racer and also a very nice cabrio turbo. there are a few more somewhere in a barn but not sure whats in there.

The avatar is my MkII Cooper in Monaco in '96. This was on the Mini Monte following the classic rally routes.
