Now...SE pilgrimmage to Goodwood FOS one year maybe?! I've been a few years back, went in a pink Corsa (!) and it was brilliant. Still had my company flat in Leatherhead so was an easy drive down...guess accom is busier around the area though.

Is there camping available?

Albeit it's a long hack down some boring roads from Scotland I suppose. However it's only 45 mins from Southampton Airport, to where Flybe fly for reasonable money if you book well in advance :thumbsup
There is camping at Goodwood. Accomodation for miles around gets booked up very early. I had the benefit of an uncle with several spare rooms, 20 mins away. It was about 7 hours from Glasgow, with a stop midway. The drive was not too bad, with some short delays both ways. I managed all the driving, despite having planned to share it with Louise & Shug.

SE road trip would we a great idea. We potentially had 5 of us this year, but a week and a halves notice for it was just too tight for most.

The old Auto Unions sounded great.... the new TDi Le-Mans cars sounded crap... as they whispered along.
