Disagree on needing 3 wheeler. I don't like 3 wheelers cos their either too long wheelbase for town work, etc (like Phil & Teds IMHO) and often v heavy; or too short wheelbase to be stable offroad on side slopes or strong cross-winds (kind of like a wheelbarrow IYSWIM). We have a Bugaboo (I know, I know... hideous yuppy wanabee image that takes some seeing past!) but with it reversed so large wheels at the front it goes effortlessly through/across anything East Lothian offroad has been able to throw at it (we live in the sticks) and does not make you have to fight to keep it upright in strong side winds, because the wider footprint is at the front... yet still a compact wee machine for weaving through the narrowest and snakiest shop aisles.campbell wrote:The missus will regret not having a 3-wheel. It makes light work of forest tracks etc and is quite amazing as to where you can actually take it if you try. Meant we got to enjoy a massive amount more of The Great Outdoors than we otherwise would have. Our double is still here, now folded sadly in a corner, retired...but as it's a double I doubt it's of use to you...yet
