Love to see the data logging of that lap!
Are you using the performance box on your car Scott?

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Re: 51 sec lap of Knockhill CPR Evo at Time Attack
Scott - If you have data from your PB could i have a look at it? It would be interesting to see the difference in you and Fee.
I think Fee could have done a better lap still (Ideal on the day was a 55.222) as she did a lap that was a 56.0 but it was over a second down after duffus, before making it back up again over the rest of the lap. Not sure what happened but she looks to have been 10mph down on top speed and braked early for duffus. Maybe a car in the way, dunno.
Didnt look bad for traffic from the pits anyway. Seems to be a great idea if they split all the finals from now on.

Hi Mass
The split times are on the TSL website. The splits are, just after Scotsman, halfway down Railway straight + Speed and at the finish line (entrance to pits) + Speed
Gareth Lloyd 51.355 lap
1-17.072 seconds
2-19.771 seconds @ 140.4mph
3-14.589 seconds @ 126.8mph
Compared to my best sectors in the final
1-18.226
2-21.590@116.1
3-16.153@106.9
And Fiona's best sectors
1-18.042
2-21.521@122.2
3-15.659@111.1
Still using my racelogic box. Its a pretty usefull tool.

Re: 51 sec lap of Knockhill CPR Evo at Time Attack
Adam - I will look out the data from the Racelogic box. It will be interesting to compare.
I think the problem was at the start of the session there was a load of rubber dumped on duffus from the skiddy boys. As the session went on there was a bit more grip. It might explain why Fee was slow on that lap. At my usual entry speed i just slid to the other side of the track and ruined the entrance to the next corner
The split finals were deffinately much better

Have you had a look at the Vbox? It's not cheap but very impressive.
Your top speed is low! which makes your lap time very impressive indeed
Have you got a link describing the differet specs of the classes?

That Evo was something else, couldnt believe the power it was putting down coming out the corners.
Nice effort on the day Scott, you looked the best by far through the middle sector.

If you could email the files to ak@trackscotland.co.uk and I'll overlay the best lapsgambler wrote:Adam - I will look out the data from the Racelogic box. It will be interesting to compare.
Mass - Here is a little bit about the classes - http://www.timeattack.co.uk/index.php/w ... ategories/
here are the regs for Club
Car - http://www.timeattack.co.uk/wp-content/ ... s-2009.pdf
Driver - http://www.timeattack.co.uk/wp-content/ ... s-2009.pdf
There is no max spec really for club... more the ideal of an individual or non-tuner 'team'
Re: 51 sec lap of Knockhill CPR Evo at Time Attack
Hi Mass - I have looked at the VBOX. Its a very impressive bit of kit. I only bought the racelogic box last year so ill just have to stick with it for now. The analysis with video included would deffinatley help though.
The car weighs 1208Kg without driver which adds nearly 100kg onto that weight
The classes are as follows
Pro Class - Tuning companies often with professional drivers i.e 51 sec at knockhill
Club Pro - The step between pro and club. A mix of the quickest privateers to most of the garages and tuning companies. approx 53-55 sec at Knockhill
Club Classes. We must try and keep below 105% of the winning time from Club Pro
Forced Induction 4WD
Forced Induction RWD
Forced Induction FWD
N/A Under 3.0 any drivetrain
N/A Over 3.0 any drivetrain
I think the N/A classes might be merged this year though
