I see you removed the mirrors, was this to stop you looking behind?

Any pics of the front tyre?

front tyre looks in pretty good shape, not worn right to the edge, but i'm told thats to do with the profile, rather than me being a pussy.
 Yeh it's only ever slick fronts I've seen worn right to the edges. I'll see what the TT riders fronts are like at the weekend. :thumbsup

My mirror was ok when I fell off just a bit scuffed but not broken. I'd like to try it with no mirrors or even just turn them to see what it's like not easing off for faster guys behind. I usually sh1t myself when they come by. Even worse on MX where the experts just stick themselves in front just as you enter the corner (I'm still not fast enough ). Almost collided with a few at the weekend. Although I did have a snigger (after I'd made sure he was OK) at one guy who passed me on the back wheel on the straight and proceeded to fall off the back. Still he was much more capable than me and I guess small mistakes become bigger when you are going that bit quicker.

i found it much easier to just ignore the faster guys behind. The people who were watching there mirrors were much more dangerous to overtake than the ones without, as they were trying to second guess your overtake.

I only had one guy who scared me, when he launched his missile up the inside into duffus. he went in too hot, ran us both wide, and at one point i thought i was heading through the gravel, but he got the thing turned which let me lean it back over and make the turn. scared the sh*t out of me though.

lol at the guy falling off the back. i probably shouldnt though, it sounds like something i would do

Removed mirrors and plate the other week, got some funny looks from the Ducati guys. Felt more comfortable without them and settled into the "fcuk'em" mindset. Yes I was in the slowest bike and yes I was one of the slowest riders but fcuk'em.
