Could do with a few F3's to patrol Libya and they did very well when fitted with ALARM but the mud movers got upset about that...!
I see black Mike is out too, I take it that's staying?

I spotted the old F4 too - that was my boyhood dream! Sat next to AC Jack Haines at a dinner in .. holy feck .. 1998 and he told me all about flying the F4. Where's the 'if only' emoticon ..

Cool.
My son Steven is there on Sunday with the cadets for his first flight, told him to only have a small breakfast, no liquids, and take a big lunch with him.
Sounds like they are going to make him through up

They'll probably get snaffled before that happens.

He said it was awsome Gareth, he ( and most of the others ) had to be lifted out the plane, as his legs didnt work, said the pilot was totally mad, but I am sure thats just all part of the fun. He now wants to learn to fly, and has told me that there is a flight shool available to the cadets, even at 14 years old

a bit frightning....
He wasnt sick, but didnt feel to great for the rest of the day, then fell asleep after the rush wore off

Had some of the Glasgow university air squadron looking round the tower today. Their officer had just completed the first part of his course, at the end of which one third of them were sacked due to the cuts.
Sad to see the F3s leaving.
