Some pics

Post by GP1 » Thu Aug 11, 2011 6:46 pm

These are the various cars I have had in recent years. I think the lotuses have been my favourite. Yet to find another marque with the same sense of enjoyment, except maybe land rover.

Amazing. Did you love the V6 clio?

Love the recaros in the defender? Simple enough job?

Yeah the V6 was good fun. sounds great and was just hilarious to drive. I loved the fact that Renault actually built it.
The recaro sportster cs seats in the grey defender are straight forward enough. There is a company called Twisted Performance that sell an adapter to fit the seats to the standard runners. The cobra seats also fit straight in with a purpose built mount available from most retailers. The subaru seats in the blue defender are not a straight fit. A bit of welding was required to fit them to the standard runners. They actually work very well in a landy.

Love defenders. No-where they won't go.

Yeah, defenders are great. I reckon most people who like lotuses will have a soft spot for them when they drive them.

Thanks.

I hated my mk1 clio v6, only good thing was the look and sound of it, sh*t as a car. Do you know they were made in Sweden by TWR? (just being pedantic ;) )

Nice collection you have had though, quite similar to mine- exige, williams, clio v6, mini

That's a very cool collection of cars! A lot of them on my wish list, and quite a few (or at least very similar) on my 'had' list. :thumbsup

You've had some properly nice cars over the years. I really like the vertical shot overlooking the elise on the cobbled streets and the quattro with the German Shepherd also stands out.
