Thanks David - most cars will briefly lift a wheel at McIntyres if they take the correct tight line over the kerb, but it does need a bit of luck on the timing. First time I've see a car lift a rear wheel at the bottom of Duffus, and didn't realised I had captured that moment until I was going through the photos last night. I cropped that one quite heavily from the original so you can see the wheel off the ground in the web sized imagesDavid wrote:Outstanding photos this time John![]()
Like these ones - didn't realise the wheels left the ground here![]()
and here . .
Just had a quick look at PH. Looks like it was a 7 driver called Piers. Sadly it sounds like he has some fairly nasty injuries. So, it's not the Caterham pictured here (That's David's). Anyone know Piers?dirkpitt wrote:umm if its the caterum 7 that was on the PH run on sunday....its defo not looking as good, hope all are well.....the lads in the atom with the chem suits on where crazy mental

He was pretty badly smashed up especially his leg, seems from the reports that the police had no interest in helping him, just trying to accuse them of racing with a group of Ferraris. I know from experience that they were not racing, I have seen the average speed. Fortunately one of the female passengers was onto him straight away to stop the flow of blood.
"First leg was great, after that it went downhill, so many people taking wrong turns and then an accident, someone badly hurt, police out and about looking for people driving dangerously. Home time."
