Some LC (photos from Time Attack at Cadwell)

Post by JohnStewart » Tue May 08, 2012 3:05 pm

Mike in his VX220 was narrowly pipped in the Club RWD class with only a few tenths separating 1st to 4th!

The Club Pro class was won by Jamie in his white Exige, beating all the higher powered 4WD machinery:

Some cars were getting impressive "air" over the mountain:

This EVO 3 won the hotly contested Club 4WD class

it was great to see Scott back in action again, but sadly a misfire meant he could only run on part throttle around the track but still came 7th overall in his class.

The RCM gobstopper was also back in action, but a gearbox problem stopped it running in the final.

Running over 900bhp and on slicks, the orange EVO posted a winning lap time of 1:27 !!

Steve wasn't running last year either Tut. I thought the move to slicks for the Pro class might have tempted him back as it has done with some of the others.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them around Knockhill next month!

Great pictures as always John.

There was some pretty mental machinery there. The 850hp R35 GTR only managed 3rd despite putting in similar speed traps to the pro cars. Probably down to driver i expect.

i think i do still owe you a shot Scotty, at the end of the season though... It does not have traction control
