Suspect Stu was happy he was in the Gt3 pax seat rather than pillion

Depends on your experience I reckon. Personally I find driving a car at high speeds a lot more intimidating than the bike. I've had fast bikes since I was a teenager and that's what I'm used to. The car being so much lower to the ground and being knocked about by four wheels rather than just the two feels much more on edge than a bike. The bike feels very planted at high speeds and doesn't suffer from the left/right movement that a car gets, only fore/aft. It's also a lot quieter on the bike once you've got your head in the bubble, all you hear is the whine of the motor.
I had a high speed crash in 1990 on a bike that I would never have survived had I been in a car.
Pillion at 300kph though - NO CHANCE!

Fastest I had my 911 was an indicated 167, fastest on my Ducati 999 was indicated 182. Much less exciting in the car than on the bike. 911 was planted at that speed and although the bike didn't move around that much it was still a lot more of a rush due to your vulnerability.

A lowly 115 mph can be quite exciting if you are going sideways

157 in a 211 wearing a set of oakleys felt fast enough.

Remembers the Big D flybys on FFX, there was a 6 in my speed and a 7 in his. However I was not calmly drinking a bottle of coke.

Good effort Jim!
No parachute Kenny. If they do another open day in the future, you should go along. It's a great experience to go up in one or two flying machines

wondered about that too until I had a shot - feels remarkably secure and a doddle for anyone used to riding a motorbike
Give it a go if you get the chance.

We used to go crock and shark spotting up the creeks in a very scrappy looking Cessna 150 just like this one when we were too hung over to sky-dive.
Flying at 100 feet used to scare the hangover off straight away - especially when I was given the controls
