Dezzy,

Nice work. My role as team polisher is now well and truly taken over by yourself :-)

Your challenge now is to seek out photo locations and compositions which can actually convey the level of sparkle you are achieving.

Couple of ideas...

- rain beads on a polished surface can give the impression of how shiny it truly is, so don't rule out a rainy day for a shoot

- have a flick through Evo mag, one of the best for photography IMHO, and see how they go about making the hardware look good.

Then go and have some fun seeking out the locations but don't forget your collapsible bucket etc to clean the cow poo off before the fashion shoot begins ;-)

Campbell... if you are feeling relegated, there's a car in my garage that I could have sworn was yellow a few months ago. Feel free to give it a wipe !!

Er, you're ok thanks, it's as much as I can do to make the time for my own 2 cars thanks to our 2 darling little 'uns! It ain't the supply of dirty motors that's the problem ;-)

Give me a shout after work or at the weekend sometime and I could pop over. You can show me the new house too. :D

You'd think it would look good as new, but MMC's car cleaners clearly don't know much about cleaning cars. It was covered in swirl marks and the paintwork did not feel as smooth as it should have for a new car. I've managed to get rid of most swirl marks, but I think it'll need a trip to a professional detailer to get rid of the worst ones.

D

True mine wasnt shiny when i got it, but they did have to take it to get defendall done at last minute but even still was no where near as shiny as your work!

Kenny, feel free to PM me with offers ;) The more dirt though, the higher the cost! ;) I accept all well known methods of payment: Peroni, Staropramen, Sailor Jerry's Rum, . . . :D

Campbell, that's exactly what I was thinking! My mate Jamie is a (damn good) professional photographer, so he's already came up with a few good locations for a photoshoot of the car. In fact, the October picture in this year's SE calendar is his work . . . my old Elise (RIP  ). He's got a few ideas for a bit of an urban/city shoot. I'm going to buy him a copy of Evo for some more ideas though! :D
