The tap was quite a complicated setup, especially to get the running water.
The light trail was a few weeks ago with Skye and a sparkler. It was taken with my Pentax Optio W30 compact digital camera. Great wee camera which I got a few months ago due to it raining just about every time I went out on the bike. The Pentax Optio W30 came out top on a recent Gadget show feature were they tested underwater/outdoor cameras to destruction (the Optio survived).

Quite fancy a Digital SLR but tend to get by with a compact and at least you can just shove it in your pocket ready for any photo opportunity that might come along.

It was a long time ago but probably a small bulb in the eggshell on a long exposure.

Surely a long exposure on a spark would come up with something like that, not sure about the flare on the spark though.
Try it and find out....
